In this companion novel to "Anna and the French Kiss," two teens discover that true love may be closer than they think
Budding designer Lola Nolan doesn't believe in fashion . . . she believes in costume. The more expressive the outfit - more sparkly, more fun, more wild - the better. But even though Lola's style is outrageous, she's a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket, return to the neighborhood. When Cricket - a gifted inventor - steps out from his twin sister's shadow and back into Lola's life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.

Review
Gosh, where to start. I loved it. As you expected of course. Reading Lola and the Boy Next Door made me feel so depressed and happy at the same time. Sometimes you just need a fluffy read like this but on the other side, it just reminds you of how lonely you actually are. I want a guy neighbor about my age. I want our windows to face each other. And I want him to be Cricket. I WANT MY HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

This book is a tie-in with Anna and the French Kiss and so naturally Anna appears in this story along with St. Clair quite a few times. They don’t just make a cameo. No, they are one of the more important characters in this story. I loved that they were a part of this book and I am curious how it will go with the third book.

After reading quite a few intense books, I was happy to read a light one like this. It was also the first book I picked out of my TBR Jar so HOORAY! This book deserves all 5 stars I gave it and I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read a cute romance novel every now and then.
